Dear Colleagues,

The field of Biomedicine and the techniques associated with it, is experiencing explosive growth. The aim of the Summer School on Emerging Technologies in Biomedicine organized every two years is to inform young students and future scientists about the latest trends in the field. This year's scientific program covers advanced topics in many diverse areas from genomics to wearable biosensors and brain research.  The Summer School will give the opportunity to its participants to communicate with experts in these fields and exchange ideas. They may also discover new areas of scientific interest towards their career.

The venue of the 3rd Summer School will be the Congress Centre of the University of Patras, situated in the middle of the campus, providing easy access to the university buildings and facilities (University library, restaurant, faculties, etc.) being in the same time within walking distance from the Rio city and seaside.

The Summer school lectures will address main topics of emerging technologies in Biomedicine including:

      Genomics and Proteomics Engineering

      Bioinformatics

      Wearable Biosensor Technology

      Robotics in Medicine
